About my education:
I am a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. My educational emphasis is in Mass Communication, with concentration in Radio, Television, and Film, and a minor in Information Technology.
About my marketing experience:
I have extensive experience in marketing and brand awareness. I have designed and developed marketing materials for a national medical staffing company, which have been published in national magazines and journals. I have developed marketing campaigns that targeted specific minority groups in the medical field, as well as, campaigns that targeted the general collection of health care professionals.
About my technical side:
I am comfortable with computers, electronic equipment, and many kinds of software. I work with computer components, operating systems, and external peripherals on a daily basis. I specialize in Apple computers, the OSX operating system and its various eternal components. I am also familiar with a variety of software, which includes the Adobe Suite of applications, the Apple Suite of applications, and the Microsoft Office Suite of applications. I have experience with Content Management Systems, Apache servers, PHP programming, and Visual Basic programming.
About my communications ability:
I honed my communication and presentation skills through my employment as the Apple Campus Representative at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock – my employment as the Web Specialist at Arkansas Children’s Hospital – and my employment as Communications Manager at Cardiac Staffing.
During my time as a Campus Representative for Apple Computers I provided computer support for students and faculty on campus, and given presentations and demonstrations to students and faculty alike. During my time as a Web Specialist for Arkansas Children’s Hospital I was involved in marketing campaigns and worked with the Web Manager to deliver projects on time. During my time as a Communications Manager at Cardiac Staffing I was responsible for all marketing campaigns, materials, and e-mail distributions.
